Good Deals stock pots and kitchen items

I am a bargain shopper. I clip coupons and wait for sales. I love it when I find a great deal. I also enjoy passing on the great deals that I find so others can partake as well.

Shortly after I started to preserve my garden produce, I found that my normal size pots and pans simply would not do. Especially when processing 30 lbs of tomatoes. The search began for large stock pots. After scouting out the super centers and saw the cost of a good stock pot, I decided to search elsewhere. Since I work during the prime garage sale times, I turned to use my online resources. About that same time, my sister-in-law told me about shopgoodwill.com.

That is where I purchased this pot. It was $13.00 and is large enough for my 3 year old to get inside. Not that I cook 3 year olds but the 3 year old size is perfect for cooking down 30 lbs of tomatoes or several dozen ears of corn for blanching.

I have also purchased a stainless steel pot with a lid about 1/2 this size for around the same price. A bargain if I say so myself.

I am in no way affiliated or have been asked by shopgoodwill.com to write about their online store, thus no link provided. But I wanted to pass on the site so maybe you too can find a good deal.  Oh and you can find pretty much anything there.  Designer purses, yarn skeins, crafty stuff, clothes of course, and all kinds of kitchen things. Enjoy shopping!

Ohhhh, I just love a good pot. I, too, have never cooked a 3 year old, but love that size. Never heard of that site, but will keep it in mind, since we love a great deal. (Hey, "we love a great deal"! That could be taken two ways! I'll leave it at that.) Thanks for passing it along.

  3. Lori i read your comment to my husband in the presence of my 3 year old. She looked at me and said, "You're not going to cook me, im not a tomato, im a kid!" I feel this conversation might come up in future therapy sessions for her should she need them as an adult.

Wow, that's a gorgeous pot. I shop at goodwill occasionally, I get all my gardening baskets there. I do look in the pots and pans section, I don't think I've ever seen a pot that big in mine. But I will be on the lookout!
